How we earn money
We are an independent review site, and we earn a commission when you buy a Candy plan or a pack of tokens after clicking one of our links. That commission is what pays for the time we spend checking the catalogue and writing the reviews.
It costs you nothing extra. The price you pay on Candy is the same whether you arrive through our button or on your own. You will see those buttons throughout the site, on reviews, lists and price pages.
How the links work
Our “Watch on Candy” buttons and other links to Candy go through Candy’s referral domain, candyai.gg, and land on candy.ai. The link carries our referral code, which is how Candy knows to credit us. Our privacy policy says more about how those links work.
We are not run by Candy, and you should treat every link to Candy on this site as an affiliate link.
What it does not change
The commission never changes our verdicts. We report prices and free episodes as Candy lists them, we point out the downsides as well as the highlights, and where a series or a plan is poor value we say so. We also always send you to the legal route on Candy, never to leaked copies.
Our rankings, such as the best Candy Shorts top 10, rest on premise, value per token, star power and variety. A bigger commission is never a reason to rank a series higher.
If you would like to know more about who we are and how we check our numbers, see our about page.
