Candy Shorts price: episodes 1 and 2 of every public series are free, then each locked episode costs 12 tokens (30 on Creator series). Premium costs $13.99 for 1 month, $8.99 a month for 3 months or $3.99 a month for 12 months ($47.88 billed), with 100 tokens included every month. A 100-token top-up pack starts at $9.99. Our pick is the 12-month plan.
Candy Shorts price in short
The Candy Shorts price is easy to state: starting costs nothing, and finishing a story costs tokens. Episode 1 of every public series plays with no account, episode 2 is free after a quick sign-up, and every episode after that is locked behind tokens: 12 per episode on standard series, 30 on Creator series.
In dollars, a standard five-episode series (2 free + 3 locked = 36 tokens) costs about $1.44 on the 12-month Premium plan, and a Creator five-parter (90 tokens) about $3.59. Those are the cheapest routes, and they are the reason we point readers to the yearly plan.
Here is the whole picture, with figures checked on October 19, 2026. Everything after this list expands on these numbers, starting with the plans.

- Premium, 1 month: $13.99 per month.
- Premium, 3 months: $8.99 per month ($26.97 billed at once).
- Premium, 12 months: $3.99 per month ($47.88 billed at once), Candy’s 70% OFF deal.

Candy AI Premium plans compared
Candy AI Premium comes in three lengths, and the longer you commit, the lower the monthly price falls. One month is $13.99. Three months drops to $8.99 a month, billed as $26.97. Twelve months lands at $3.99 a month, billed as $47.88, which Candy advertises as 70% OFF.
Every Premium month carries 100 tokens, so the plan length changes what you pay, not what you get. That makes the 12-month plan the clear value winner: the same monthly tokens at less than a third of the one-month price.
Premium also opens Candy’s other tools, such as AI companion chat, images and voice, and the same token balance powers them. If Shorts is why you are here, that is simply extra. Our Candy AI discount page breaks down the saving in full.
Choosing a length is mostly a question of confidence. Pick one month if you only want to test the water, the 3-month plan if you want a middle path, and the 12-month plan if you already know you will keep coming back for new series. Candy adds new series almost every week, so there is usually something fresh to press play on.

Candy AI tokens explained
Tokens are Candy’s currency, and they are the part of the Candy AI price that matters most for Shorts. A locked episode on a standard series costs 12 tokens. On a Creator series, which stars the licensed AI likeness of a real adult performer, a locked episode costs 30 tokens.
Each Premium month includes 100 tokens. That covers two standard five-episode series (72 tokens) with 28 left over, or one Creator five-parter (90 tokens) with 10 left over.
Plan for one thing: the balance is shared. Chat with an AI companion, generate images or use voice, and those tokens come out of the same pool as your Shorts episodes. If you want your allowance to go on stories, keep an eye on where the rest is spent.
The spare tokens are useful too. The 28 left after two standard series buy two more locked episodes of a third story (24 tokens), so nothing in the allowance has to go to waste.
When tokens run out in the middle of a story, a top-up pack is the quick fix. Packs start at $9.99 for 100 tokens.
What one Candy Shorts series really costs
Here is where the numbers turn friendly. A standard five-episode series gives you 2 free episodes and 3 locked ones, so you pay for 36 tokens. Priced at the 12-month plan allowance, that is about $1.44. At the top-up pack rate it is about $3.60, and at the monthly plan allowance about $5.04.
A Creator five-parter needs 90 tokens: about $3.59 on the 12-month plan, about $8.99 at the pack rate and about $12.59 on the monthly plan. The extra cost pays for the star power of a licensed performer’s AI likeness, and it is two and a half times the price of a standard series (90 tokens against 36). Meet the performers on our Candy Shorts creators page.
Long series scale in a straight line, because each locked episode keeps the same price. My bestie betrayed me runs 34 episodes and needs 384 tokens, roughly four months of Premium allowance. YES MA’AM runs 27 episodes and needs 300 tokens, roughly three months. Treat them as a bigger story on the same meter, and try a shorter series first.
One caution: the dollar figures are our own conversion of Candy’s token costs and plan prices, so read them as about-figures. To size up any series yourself, multiply its locked episodes by 12 tokens (30 on a Creator series) and you have the tokens to finish. You pay for a whole plan or pack up front, not for 36 tokens, so the table shows the value of the tokens you use, not the amount on your receipt.
| What you unlock | Tokens | 12-month plan | Token pack | 1-month plan |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| One locked standard episode | 12 | ≈ $0.48 | ≈ $1.20 | ≈ $1.68 |
| Standard five-episode series | 36 | ≈ $1.44 | ≈ $3.60 | ≈ $5.04 |
| One locked Creator episode | 30 | ≈ $1.20 | ≈ $3.00 | ≈ $4.20 |
| Creator five-episode series | 90 | ≈ $3.59 | ≈ $8.99 | ≈ $12.59 |
| Longest series: My bestie betrayed me | 384 | ≈ $15.32 | ≈ $38.36 | ≈ $53.72 |
Dollar figures divide each route's price by the tokens it gives you; the first two episodes of every series cost nothing.
Token packs or Premium: which is cheaper for you
It depends on whether you want one series or a habit.
For a single series, the sums are small whichever route you take. A top-up pack of 100 tokens from $9.99 covers a standard series with room to spare, at about 10 cents a token.
For a habit, Premium wins. Per token, the 12-month plan works out at about 4 cents, the pack at about 10 cents and the monthly plan at about 14 cents. Even the 3-month plan, at $8.99 a month for 100 tokens, undercuts a single $9.99 pack that holds the same 100 tokens.
So the rule of thumb is simple. Topping up now and then? A pack rescues you when tokens run out mid-story. Watching a couple of series a month, or mixing in chat and images? A plan costs less per token, and the 12-month plan costs least.
Two standard series a month use 72 of the 100 tokens you receive, which is why a plan feels like a subscription to stories rather than a pay-per-episode meter.
A quick example makes it concrete. Watch two standard series a month for a year and you have seen 24 stories on a single 12-month plan. Buying the same tokens in packs, you would be topping up again and again at the higher pack rate.
Our pick: the 12-month plan, and when monthly makes sense
Our pick is the 12-month plan. At $3.99 a month ($47.88 billed once), it is the cheapest route to every token, and it is the plan Candy itself promotes with 70% OFF. Twelve monthly payments would come to $167.88, so the yearly plan saves $120.00. The full maths sits on our Candy AI discount page.
The monthly plan makes sense in one case: you want to test Candy before committing. One month at $13.99 gets you the same 100 tokens with the shortest commitment. If you are unsure, watch episodes 1 and 2 first (see how to watch Candy Shorts free), then decide.
